How Much Does A Thermal Imaging Device For Hunting in The Wild Cost?

As an outdoor player, especially an enthusiast, thermal imagers are commonly used equipment. In the process of going out, a good thermal imager is really comparable to an outdoor expert. This time I will introduce a cost-effective thermal imager RE60 recommended by a friend and loved after using it.

First of all, let me talk about why this thermal imager is recommended compared to other thermal imagers. This requires understanding some uses of outdoor work or travel. The first use is mainly for observation. If you want to capture a snow leopard, the most important thing is to find the snow leopard. The naked eye is limited, so you need a thermal imager; the second use is for safety protection. Some hikers set up camp outdoors, even in the wilderness during the day, but there are actually some dangers that cannot be discovered, such as some animals. There may be some dangerous factors in some mountains when camping at night. Thermal imaging observation can directly distinguish between living and dead things.

These two applications are the most common. Thermal imagers are generally monocular, and the imaging quality of the lens is limited. If you want high-quality imaging, you can spend tens of thousands of yuan. They are generally foreign brands and are often heavy and inconvenient to carry. My requirement for thermal imagers is that they are easy to use for outdoor activities, especially clear images. Only when the image quality is high, the thermal imager is valuable. This RE54's RE60 is a new model with high cost performance this year. It is very suitable as a high-end thermal imager. Compared with high-end similar products with a price of 40,000 to 50,000 to 70,000, the RE60 with the same configuration has high-end functional attributes that outdoor players generally like, and the unit price is 2-3 times lower than that of products with the same configuration.

The imaging feature of RE60 is that the lens is good and large. The lens is the most expensive part of the thermal imager. A good lens is generally a germanium glass lens. The imaging band of this lens can well cover the optical band of thermal imaging, so that the light sensing of thermal imaging will be very good. Secondly, it is a large lens. A large lens allows more light to enter and a wide field of view. The part of the thermal imager that is close to the eye is called the eyepiece, and the part that is far away from the eye is called the objective lens. The objective lens mainly determines the distance of vision. The diameter of the ordinary lens is generally 13mm and 19mm. The larger the lens, the higher the cost. The RE60 has achieved 50mm, which has to be said to have opened up a big gap. Such a large objective lens can basically meet most outdoor needs. In simple terms, it can see far and clearly.

Let's talk about the binocular imaging of RE60. I don't worry about monocular and binocular. Generally speaking, most people will definitely feel more comfortable using binoculars without closing one eye; binoculars are mainly for a better experience and comfortable use, but the problem is that there is an extra eyepiece, which will definitely add one more lens material and the cost will be higher. With the same configuration, binoculars are generally more expensive than monoculars. Even binoculars are standard for many high-end thermal imagers. You can take a look at some of the current outdoor thermal imagers. Some of the more expensive ones are binoculars. This has little impact on my use. You can look at the imaging effect in the official concentrated color mode. If you usually use a national digital night vision device or a cheap thermal imager, you will know how high the imaging effect of RE60 is.

At the end of the conversation, the fundamental reason for recommending this model is that in my opinion, the high imaging quality is one aspect, and the price is suitable, which is very cost-effective. The current long-term preferential price is 15,000 yuan, and the similar configuration may be more than 30,000 or 40,000 yuan. In comparison, I can definitely accept it. At least I bought a new device with a configuration of tens of thousands of yuan for about 15,000 yuan.
